Chef Apreda from the Hotel Hassler's newest restaurant, Imago, will create delightful Italian delicacies for guests from 15th to 22nd November, 2008. Accompanied by the Master Sommelier and Maitre D'Hotel Romano Rimoldi, be prepared to be enthralled with their intimate knowledge on food, wine as well as stories of their home country.

The Oberoi, Mumbai and the Hotel Hassler in Rome have shared a long and close relationship. The culinary essence of Vetro is traditional and authentic Italian cuisine with a strong creative element. The new perspective on Italian food makes the meal a gastronome's delight. Hotel Hassler has assisted in recommending and placing the professional team at Vetro including Chef Emanuele Lattanzi.

A glimpse of the menu includes Fusilloni pasta with quail ragout "Carbonara style", a delightful Pear and asparagus parmigiana timbale with mushrooms and artichoke sauce, Roasted fillet of sea bass with shallots and Cannellini beans, eggplant and ginger sauce, Semolina and Taleggio cheese pudding with Belgian endives and red onion sauce and Glazed breast of duck with dried fruit, with an exquisite antipasti and dessert selection.

Sunday, 22nd November will bring you the "Imago Special Lunch" with distinctive selections such as Duck salad with endive, walnuts and honey, Italian cheese and cold cuts, Potato gnocchi with rabbit ragout and almonds, Artichoke and truffle Cannelloni pasta with goat cheese sauce with a selection of Italian desserts.
